Shaffer operates with both common and contract authority, between all points in the contiguous United States. Shaffer's mission is to be the nation's premiere temperature control carrier (usually refrigerated) , meeting or exceeding customer expectations through vision, leadership and a commitment to the process of continuous improvement. While we specialize in the transportation of temperature sensitive products, including those requiring temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit, Shaffer also transports many other commodities - from magazines to auto parts.

Shaffer Trucking Driver Requirements
  • Must be at least 23 years old.
  • Must have at least 1 year OTR
  • Must have a valid Class A CDL.
  • No felonies with in the last 10 years.
  • No drug or alcohol violations with in the last 5 years.
  • No license suspensions with in the last 3 years.
  • No reckless homicide or involuntary manslaughter with in the last 3 years.
  • No leaving the scene of an accident with in the last 3 years.
  • No use of motor vehicle in the commission of a felony in the last 3 years.
  • No reckless or careless driving in the last 3 years.
  • No more than 1 serious CDL moving violation in the last 3 years.
  • No serious CDL moving violation with in 1 year.
  • No involvement in a preventable accident in the last year.
